Little Free Pantry
The Little Free Pantry…
is located in the courtyard area near the Labyrinth. The idea for Jerusalem’s Little Free Pantry came from the Bible where feeding the hungry and welcoming the stranger are common themes. Jerusalem does support the Schuylkill Haven Area Food Pantry, which is run by the Schuylkill Haven and Vicinity Council of Churches. While the food pantry offers full grocery bags of items that can be made into meals, our Little Free Pantry is focused on temporarily meeting the needs of an individual who does not have a kitchen to cook in and who needs to eat something right away.
